About the Author

Mary Lee Jordano was born in Brooklyn and now resides in Catskill, NY. She started writing poetry at age seven and is a life-long student of literature as well as poetry. Ms. Jordano earned her B.A. from SUNY. Recipient of Poetry Society of America award, under the tutelage of Professor Ann Lauteerbach of Bard College. Selected for a poetry program by Legendary poet, publisher and Rock n’ Roll band, musician in “The Fugs”, Ed Sanders, who resides in Woodstock, NY.

Ms. Jordano’s work has appeared in magazines and she has been guest speaker at local poetry readings and radio shows. Ms. Jordano has published a number of chapbooks, including “To Be Beside the Figural, That’s Rhetorical Poetry” (now in its second printing.)
